About Us
Evastaff Farm is located 5 minutes from the township of Ulverstone on the beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania. Our 10 acre property is situated against the beautiful backdrop of the Dial Range and Leven River. Our hobby farm was originally part of my parents Dairy Farm with myself having grown up on this property since my early teens. My husband Mark and I built our home here and are surrounded by our beautiful animals (both domestic and farm) and gardens. We love our lifestyle.
A Little More About Us
Our little hobby farm includes our stunning SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS which we were breeding for almost 10 years up until 2023. Whilst we no longer breed we do have some beautiful Highlands to view.
We are a small boutique style PYGMY GOAT STUD. Boutique as we breed on a limited basis. Our objective is QUALITY over QUANTITY and we are proud to say that we have sourced our foundation herd from some of Australia's top Pygmy Goat studs. Our Pygmy's are bred to the US breed standard and are traditional in colour and conformation. Our herd is something we are very proud of. We strive for breed improvement and development in Australia.

We also have 4 very spoilt Donkeys including "Eccelstone Valley Bruno" our youngest, naughtiest and only purebred Miniature Donkey. Our Alpaca's include "Timone & Pumbaa" who are super friendly, enjoy a walk and love cuddles and kisses. We have 8 Alpacas in total, a combination of Suri & Huacaya of differing colours. We älso have a spoilt rescue Mini Pony called "Dynamo" and a very fat Miniature bred steer called "Baloo".
We have an abundance of free range chickens, ducks and Guinea Fowl.
Our bird Aviary's are plentiful with some beautiful birds including Cockatiels, Ringnecks, Quakers, Galahs, Superb Parrots & 28 Parrots.
We love sharing our animals with family and friends. Visitors are always welcome to view animals and learn about them. If you are interested in any of our animal breeds we can assist you with informative information on the animals, housing, health and animal husbandry.

Your Host - Wendy
My name is Wendy and I am one of your hosts and co-owner of Evastaff Farm. I am semi retired and have a working background in animal husbandry and health as I was a Veterinary Nurse in both Tasmania and NSW in the early 1980’s and spent a period of time working for RSPCA NSW at their Yagoona facility as the Senior Head Veterinary Nurse. I grew up with horses and loved life on my parents Dairy Farm (part of that property is now Evastaff Farm). For the past 30 odd years I have worked in office administration. I volunteer at a local Aged Care facility on a regular basis and hold a Working With Vulnerable People card. I am a past elected Councillor and past President of the TCA (Tasmanian Canine Association) as Mark and I were heavily involved in breeding & showing pedigreed Dogs, namely Staffordshire Bull Terriers and American Staffordshire Terriers under the Evastaff Prefix.

Your Host "Mark"
Let me introduce your other host Mark.
Mark is a Construction Carpenter/Builder by trade and recently retired. Well he's not really retired as Wendy has him doing all the "WE" jobs at Evastaff Farm - we have to keep the animals & Wendy all happy!
In more recent years before retirement, Mark worked for a non for profit organisation with social housing and also holds a Working With Vulnerable People card.
Like Wendy his passion for animals is evident.
